Taylor Lautner Covers ‘GQ Australia’ October/November 2011 Issue

Taylor Lautner dons a sleek suit for the cover of the October/November 2011 issue of ‘GQAustralia‘ magazine while talking about topics ranging from how he deals with stardom to his passion for fast rides.

Highlights from Taylor’s interview are as follows:

On handling superstardom: “I wouldn’t say I get upset about it. I asked for this. It gets frustrating. But during that frustration you say, ‘OK. Why am I frustrated? I’m doing what I love.’ But sometimes you really just want to go do whatever you want to do.”

On his passion for cars: “As you know, I’ve been driving the same car [a BMW 5 series] for the past four years. But I’ve always been a huge car fan. And I would always go to dealerships and drool. And I definitely always had my eye on this car. And it was a long process before I even considered getting a car like that. It’s a childhood dream.”

Taylor Lautner Covers ‘VMAN’ September 2011 Issue

Taylor Lautner is on the cover of the Fall 2011 edition of VMan Magazine. Inside the magazinehe talks about playing Jacob Black in Twilight and about his fans.

On taking time out to be a regular guy: “If I’m not filming, I’m promoting, and if it wasn’t Twilight, it was a different movie, so it got really busy. But yeah, no, I, you know, I hang out with my friends, family, and kind of just – I don’t even know. It’s like, when I am not filming, it seems like – I don’t even know what I do.”

On going abroad: “I hadn’t explored much besides Michigan and California. When I am traveling the world promoting the films I say I am on vacation, but its not really true, I guess – because when I go to a beautiful city I spend the whole time in a hotel room and then I am back on a plane to the next place.

On his new Twilight family: “It was really helpful that all of us were going through the same thing at the same time. I think if we didn’t have that sort of relationship it would have been tough. It would have felt pretty lonely. Because when you are filming for these Breaking Dawnmovies, we were filming for seven months – and if you’re there alone the whole time even withthe cast members, like on a day off, or on weekends, you’d go nuts.”

Taylor Lautner for GQ Magazine by Mario Testino

Twilight‘s hunkiest werewolf, Taylor Lautner covers the July 2010 issue of GQ magazine, photographed by Mario Testino. The 18-year-old actor gives us a preview of the most stylish men’s fashions for Fall, and opens up to editor Mickey Rapkin about his home life, his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, his beefcake image, and his commitment to the role of Twilight’sJacob Black’… and oh, the Kanye West / Taylor Swift incident.

On his mindset with keeping the role of Jacob: “I’m in the gym and I’m doing reps, and I’m reading the books, and I’m studying the character. I’m just saying to myself, ‘I want this role. I love this role. I’m not gonna lose it. And I’m gonna know it better than anybody, and I’m gonna do that extra rep, because I’m gonna be Jacob Black.’”

On his Oscar experience: “I would have passed out if she [Kristen Stewart] wasn’t there! You’re looking down and you’re talking to George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio—and they’re listening to you!”

On the Kanye West/Taylor Swift incident: “I was standing behind her as it was happening, and 100 percent I was sure it was staged! I thought, ‘This was something that they rehearsed.’ I was enjoying the show! But then Taylor turned around and I saw her face.”

On his beefcake image“The script [of 'Valentine’s Day'] said we were walking into school and Willy takes off his shirt. I said, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. He’s gonna take off his shirt in the middle of school? No, no, no.’ The reason I took off my shirt for ‘New Moon’ is because it’s written in the book that way. And there’s reasons behind it.”

On how fame hasn’t changed his life at home: “The thing I love is that my home life hasn’t changed. I still help out with the garbage. I still help out with the lawn.”

The third installment of Twilight, ‘Twilight:Eclipse’ opens in theaters June 30.
